CounterKit is a private ordering page and house-tab ledger for independent counters — cafés, bakeries, delis, and boutique food counters whose regulars order by name. Your menu, live on the web. Orders in a real-time queue. Every tab kept to the cent, in a ledger that never loses a page. Live in about fifteen minutes. Yours outright — no subscription, no commission, no middleman.

One demo tip: keep the whole demo in this one browser on this one device — the free demo's sample data lives in your browser only and doesn't sync between devices (the paid version runs on Firebase and syncs everywhere).
Every beloved counter runs on the same invisible system: memory.
Your counter doesn’t need enterprise software. It needs discretion, accuracy, and polish: your menu, your queue, and a tab book with a perfect memory.
A complete, self-hosted ordering and house-tab system, refined to a single elegant packet.
Your guests order from a beautifully simple web page — your menu, your add-ons, their name, done. They receive a confirmation and an order number. Nothing to install, no account, no password.
They may place it on their house tab. One tap. The charge enters their ledger automatically — precise to the cent, timestamped, permanent.
One private admin page — orders appear the instant they’re placed; a single tap marks them fulfilled. Balances, lifetime totals, and full payment histories are always one glance away.
And it is yours. Your Firebase project, your data, your domain. No subscription to renew, no per-order commission, no platform that can raise its prices on you next quarter — or hold your customer relationships hostage if you ever leave.
Don’t take our word for it — run the counter yourself.
The complete CounterKit system is live as a demo with sample data. Order as a guest, switch to the admin, work the queue, settle a tab.
Try the live demo →No monthly fee. No percentage of sales. Firebase’s complimentary tier comfortably covers a typical counter.
Consider: a single month on most ordering platforms costs more than CounterKit costs forever — and they take their percentage of every order, indefinitely.
CounterKit is sold directly, and payment is by Bitcoin — no accounts, no checkout cart, no platform in the middle. Orders are handled personally, by email, in three steps:
Write to shloimyf33107+counterkit@gmail.com and say which tier — Starter ($49), Single-Business ($149), or Multi-Location ($349). Start your order email →
You’ll receive a reply with your exact BTC amount — calculated at the live rate, unique to your order — and the payment address. Please send exactly that amount; it’s how your payment is matched to your order.
Send that exact amount; when it confirms on-chain, your download (CounterKit-v1.zip) arrives by email, with setup guidance. Start with the 60-second demo, then follow the 15-minute setup.
Replies are typically sent within a few hours. Your quoted amount is held for 24 hours from the reply.
Set CounterKit up within fourteen days of purchase. If it does not run your counter’s ordering and house tabs exactly as described — and we cannot make it right by email — write to us and we will refund you in full. No forms, no exit interview, no hard feelings.
You risk nothing but fifteen minutes of setup. Your notebook has already cost you more.
No. Setup is five quiet steps: create a free Firebase project, paste six configuration values into one file, publish the rules file, create your admin login, and upload the folder to any static host. The README accompanies you click-by-click, in about fifteen minutes. If you can run the demo, you can complete the setup.
Nothing, for most counters. CounterKit carries no subscription; hosting is complimentary on Firebase Hosting, Netlify, and their peers, and Firestore’s free Spark plan absorbs a small counter’s volume with room to spare.
By name — the way your counter already works. A tab is keyed to the name a guest orders under; the ledger records every charge and settlement beneath it. Ask regulars to use one consistent spelling.
Not in v1 — by design. The model is the house tab or pay-at-the-counter, which is how counters built on regulars genuinely operate. The code is plain and documented, ready for a developer to extend later.
Menu and prices: yes — live, from the admin page, with nothing to redeploy. The look and wording: yes — one CSS file with the palette at the top, and your business name and tab policy in one configuration file.
Entirely. Everything resides in your Firebase project under your Google account. We never see your guests, your orders, or your tabs.
A free Google account (for Firebase) and somewhere to host static files — Firebase Hosting, Netlify, Vercel, and GitHub Pages all offer complimentary tiers.
Payment is by Bitcoin, arranged personally by email (see “How to order” above). Email the tier you want; you’ll receive a reply with your exact BTC amount at the live rate and the payment address. Send exactly that amount — once it confirms on-chain, the download is emailed to you. Because each order is matched by its unique amount, there is no instant checkout; replies are typically sent within a few hours.
The 14-Day “Running Counter” Guarantee above. Refunds are issued in Bitcoin to the address you paid from.
